JASON WU FALL 2011:

I picked out a few pieces from Jason Wu´s Fall Collection which I loved. He inspired his collection in Robert Polidori´s photos in Parcours Museologique Revister, which documents the restoration of Versailles. I personally enjoyed this because I love French history, especially the time of Versailles and the French Revolution. I also enjoyed the jewelry made by Alexis Bittar shown during the runway. I think his jewelry pieces are just a great accesory for any occation.

LADY GAGA for VOGUE...

March Vogue with Lady Gaga. Photographed by Mario Testino with Lady Gaga wearing the first (and maybe last) neon pink bob on the cover of  American Vogue. I personally loved the pieces she wore by McQueen. I also loved how the pictures were taken, and the cover, because it is very different from what we normally see; but then again so is Lady Gaga...

ALEXANDER McQUEEN FALL/WINTER 2011:

McQueen´s  latest and last collection is just a complete work of art, just like his last Spring/Summer, with a medieval theme inspired in the great times of Queen Elizabeth I. I was speechless when I saw his  collection. I just can´t believe he is just not around anymore. I think it´s such a shame to have lost this great genius and wonderful artist who created one of the best designer brands I have ever known, as well as so many people I´s sure think the same way. So many people who admired his work so much, and still do; who were inspired by him. This collection for me is just so strong, with so much personality and detail like never seen before, even though all of his collections have been a great pleasure seeing, and of course wearing... It will definitely be something to remember...

YVES SAINT LAURENT

"The Shoe" for the the season as well as all year long wearable for me and a wardrobe must-have is the YSL tribute sandal which now comes in so many great colors. You can wear it and match it up with anything you like...

LOUIS VUITTON PRE-FALL 2011

Designer Julie de Libran inspired from the works of Louis Bourgeois in Venice; and the 1920´s when designers like: les garconnes and Art Deco wanted to create wardrobe for the women who want to rule the world.
